Challenges Faced by the Client

Our customer had been facing challenges in generating NEAR-Real time Insights and reports from their
terminal operations data every day that led to several mishaps in the Key Performance Indicators,
Processes, and taking the right Business decisions appropriately on time.

  1. Legacy Systems in place – Terminal operating system and API Pro. Non-availability of any Analytics
    platforms to generate standard reports.
  2. Non-availability of Consolidated Reporting Platform to Automate the reports.
  3. Non-availability of a Centralized Reporting Portal to drill down the reports.
  4. Challenges in generating Real-time reports in Finance, Accounting, and Maintenance & Repair Sections.
  5. Challenges in monitoring, tracking, and managing the daily reports of the operations.

Solutions

We implemented an organizational-wide Business Intelligence (BI) system that provides up-to-date Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) across the company via Visual reports, Interactive dashboards customized for Executive-level views, and general staff notifications. Specifically, the BI system provides the status displays of the operational characteristics of Terminal Operations & Logistics and Maintenance & Repair.
