ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise Data & Analytics projects using Microsoft Fabric.
• Own project delivery including estimation, planning, execution, quality, risk management, and successful go-live.
• Lead and manage Data Engineering teams; allocate work, review deliverables, and ensure timely execution.
• Design and implement scalable data platforms using Microsoft Fabric components including Data Factory, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, OneLake, Notebooks, Pipelines, and Real-Time Analytics.
• Architect and implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) for enterprise analytics solutions.
• Develop and optimize ETL / ELT pipelines, ingestion frameworks, and enterprise data models.
• Integrate data from multiple sources including databases, APIs, files, ERP, EMR, and external systems.
• Drive data standardization, transformation, quality, governance, and performance optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and customer teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, technical governance, and implementation best practices.
• Mentor and guide engineering teams; establish standards, reusable frameworks, and delivery accelerators.
• Support pre-sales activities including estimations, solution design, proposals, and technical presentations.
• Enable AI-driven analytics use cases and support initiatives around Generative AI, Copilot, conversational analytics, intelligent insights, and automation.
• Identify opportunities for AI adoption and modern analytics capabilities within enterprise data platforms.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, scalability, and enterprise data standards.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Platform implementations.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.
• Experience in SQL, Python / PySpark, Spark, ETL / ELT frameworks.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, Lakehouse concepts, and enterprise analytics platforms.
• Experience leading delivery teams and managing enterprise projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and customer-facing experience.
• Basic knowledge of Power BI, semantic models, and reporting solutions.
• Understanding of AI / Generative AI concepts and AI-enabled analytics solutions.

Preferred

• Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-600)
• Microsoft Certified: Fabric Data Engineer Associate (DP-700)
• Experience in Healthcare, Finance, Insurance, or Enterprise Analytics domains.
• Experience in enterprise data modernization programs and AI initiatives.
